System Integrator (SI) environment
. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of application development, deployment, integration, and support across a diverse client base. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of
technical leadership, delivery expertise, client relationship management, and business acumen
in a project-driven, multi-client setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Innovation
Define and execute a forward-looking application services strategy aligned with company and client objectives.
Drive solution innovation through adoption of cutting-edge technologies (AI/ML, cloud-native, low-code platforms).
Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to shape proposals, respond to RFPs, and lead client presentations.
Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor.
2. Program & Delivery Oversight
Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale, complex application programs across industries.
Establish delivery governance, enforce standards (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and ensure successful execution of SLAs.
Oversee resource planning, budget control, risk management, and project reporting.
Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, including data migrations, middleware, and APIs.
3. Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead a high-performing team of architects, developers, analysts, and support engineers.
Build a collaborative and accountable team culture rooted in continuous learning and innovation.
Drive recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and succession planning strategies.
Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and foster leadership growth across the team.
4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the executive point of contact for strategic clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Manage client expectations, resolve escalations, and proactively recommend technology solutions.
Align internal delivery, sales, and support teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
5. Operational Excellence & Service Optimization
Define and implement delivery best practices, development standards, and automation frameworks.
Continuously improve operational efficiency, service quality, and delivery predictability.
Oversee application lifecycle activities including upgrades, enhancements, and deprecation planning.
Ensure full compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
6. Financial & Commercial Management
Own the P&L for the Application Services function.
Develop budgets, forecast resource needs, and contribute to pricing strategies.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement through efficient delivery and new offerings.
Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
10-15 years in IT application development or software engineering, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership or director role.
Proven success delivering large-scale application programs in a
System Integrator (SI)
environment.
Strong track record of managing multi-client engagements and cross-functional delivery teams.
Technical Proficiency:
Deep understanding of application architectures (monolith, microservices), integration methods, and DevOps practices.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, and enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM).
Proficient in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud-native development.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, API management, and application security standards.
Leadership & Soft Skills:

Exposure to AI/ML technologies and their integration into enterprise applications.
