The Project Manager is a member of the Services Team and is responsible for the complete implementation of projects at our customers.
Team/Mission
The Service team has a double role :
Ensuring service to customers in accordance with the underlying maintenance contracts
Ensuring the roll out of projects in accordance with the underlying project contract
Key Accountabilities
analyzing, evaluating and defining customer specifications (product related functional specifications + specific customer related specification) of projects at the customer and feedback to sales
estimating the amount of professional services to ensure the roll out of the project
drawing up the planning for the implementation in close consultation with the customer, development, product management, finance and Director, Services
coordinating the activities and deploying the required resources, to guarantee a quality completion
monitoring the budgets and being responsible for the pre and post calculation and invoicing of the projects; this includes drawing up a closing docs with point of improvement and lessons learned
supervision over support engineers, logistical engineers and telecom specialists within the boundaries of a project and after the latter have been dedicated by the Director, Services to the project manager
Key Success Criteria
respecting implementation and invoicing milestones
respecting budget and estimated professional services
ensure correct time logging of all involved
ensuring open but formal communication with sales, development and other members of services on the one hand and with the customer on the other hand
keeping up to date in a rapidly changing technical environment. This is achieved by self study and assertively requesting additional education
