Service Engineer
Responsibilities
Level 1 Troubleshooting and Technical Support - identify, diagnose, and resolve basic configurations concerns, or minor hardware malfunctions
Offer customer support by resolving queries, providing technical assistance, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Execute routine data collection processes from data loggers, onboard sensors, software systems, diagnostic tools and feedback forms
Analyze collected data to identify performance patterns, trends, and potential areas for optimization or preventive maintenance
Conduct and facilitate regular inspections, diagnostic tests, and scheduled maintenance for all vehicle assets including on-board equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety
Develop maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to protocols and manufacturer's guidelines for regular inspections, software updates, and component replacements
Generate detailed reports outlining identified issues, recommended solutions, and actions taken for each maintenance task or diagnostic analysis
Coordinate operational activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and route optimization for the AV fleet
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and management teams to facilitate coordination between technical tasks and operational requirements
Requirements
Minimally a Diploma in relevant Engineering field with equivalent work experience, with a focus on mechatronics preferred
Proficiency in Level 1 troubleshooting, data collection methodologies, and coordination of maintenance activities for Class 3 and 4 vehicles and electronics equipment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders
