Job Description


This position is located in Singapore, reports to LPT Head of Field Service.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Handling of service-related jobs at customer sites and our workshop
  • Hands-on maintenance and servicing jobs
  • Conduct equipment and function test upon service.
  • Writing reports and handover service scope back to the user/customer.
  • Plan maintenance jobs as per existing maintenance contracts together with Project Coordinator
  • Communicating with clients, peers, and technical principal to ensure that services are delivered effectively.
  • Attend service calls.
  • Support customers within Singapore and parts of Malaysia.
  • Conduct site surveys/inspections and propose maintenance/service required.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to process, electrical or mechanical.
  • Supervise installations and small-scale projects assigned.
  • Provide technical support & consultation to service sales team.
Your Profile / Qualifications

Qualification
  • Engineering Diploma or equivalent, in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering
Skills/Experiences/Personal Strengths
  • Experiences and/or basic process knowledge in any application sectors (like dairy, food, pharma and chemical). Very strong technical-know-how.
  • Basic troubleshooting skill for mechanical and electrical
  • Relevant experiences with minimum 1 to 4 years in similar industry.
  • Experience with site work, machinery maintenance and customer interaction are essential.
  • Ability to correct problems or take decisions rapidly.
  • Good oral, written and presentation skills in the English language are essential.
  • Basic computer skills with a sound knowledge of the following software packages, Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience and process knowledge on Spray dryer/Wet process/Powder handling technology is an advantage.

  • Highly motivated and open-minded.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A can-do attitude in discussion and service execution.
  • Able to communicate/deal professionally with both internal and external clients.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills would be desirable.
