Job Description

Responsibilities



Handle customer support, commissioning and servicing on assigned company products. Responsible for servicing assignments for Southeast Asia region, maintain relationship with existing clients. Carry out workshop testing and technical preparations, ensure assigned tasks are excuted on a timely basis as per required quality standards. Generate service reports, update drawings, cable information database and other relevant documents. Provide remote guidance/ technical support to customers, commissioning team and project management of refit/retrofit projects, as well as back-end support to the service teams. Assist sales team on providing solutions to technical issues. Handle pre- and post-administrative work. Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by line manager where required.

Requirements



Degree/Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation or a related discipline. Above 3 years of relevant experience in Maritime/Marine industry. Onboard ship experience handling automation systems (control/ propulsion). Strong knowledge of Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS), propulsion/steering control systems, system processes, distributed control systems and power management systems . Proficient in MS Office and computer hardware/peripherals and software. Excellent communucation, problem solving and project management skills. Result-oriented, self-motivated, works well in a team as well as independently. Meticulous & methodical approach to remote case handling. * Able to travel overseas for work on short notice when required.
