Job Description
Responsibilities:
Attend on site, lead a team or as a team member or work alone to provide technical services for:
- Vessels in port, shipyard, anchorage
- Sailing along with vessel
- Offshore, power plant or other relative industrial facilities
- Components, equipment or facilities in workshop or premises of third parties
- Marine Diesel Engines and its affiliated systems and equipment
- Power Plant, Offshore and Industrial, Diesel Engines and its affiliated systems and equipment
- Other relative or similar facilities/equipment
- Troubleshooting
- Health inspection and performance evaluation
- Routine maintenance
- Major repair
- Remote technical support
- Service report (in English) for all jobs allocated
Hybrid work model (both office based and homebased) for technical support, make preparation for a job, close a job, upgrading of skillsets, share knowledge/experience, visit customers, participate to develop new business, train and be a role model for junior colleagues in the company, and other issues relating to company business as otherwise assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in relevant mechanical/engineering, marine engine a plus
- 3-5+ years of experience in technical service on marine diesel engine, experience in engine makers a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English especially in writing service reports
- Due to the need to liaise with our China offices, ability to communicate in Chinese will be highly recommended
- Strong communications and coordination skills
- Good at logical analysis, hands-on
- Positive personality, proactive, strong sense of responsibility , teamwork and able to work under pressure
- Willing to go on frequent business trips
Normal work hours: 0830 \xe2\x80\x93 1730, 5 days a week.
Overtime out of normal work hours, are payable, or exchange with equivalent days for rest.
