As a Service Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on-site. Reporting to Service Sales Manager, you will be playing a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions. This position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

  • Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them, and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed
  • Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifying and developing sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market
  • Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios
  • Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM)
  • Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. Managing administrative sales processes
  • Contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database
  • Translating the needs of customer into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions

Your background

  • Degree/diploma in Electrical /Electronic engineering Highly sales driven
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience in engineering/service sales
  • Hands on experience on Electrical Medium and low voltage system servicing
  • The ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
