About the job Service Technician (Marine Engines) Roles & Responsibilities
Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble, and test diesel engine components including cylinder heads, fuel pumps, turbochargers, pistons, and connecting rods.
Carry out mechanical fitting and assembly tasks in accordance with technical drawings, service manuals, and job instructions.
Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace by managing tools properly and adhering to 5S standards.
Work closely with quality inspectors to identify, address, and resolve any non-conformities.
Take part in toolbox meetings, job safety analyses, and team discussions on work progress and safety matters.
Travel to customer sites, vessels, shipyards, and offshore locations as required, following all site-specific safety and access procedures.
