Serving the oil and gas, windfarm and civil construction markets, MENCK\'s hammer technology is able to operate in some of the most hostile climates around the world.MENCK is currently recruiting a Singapore-based Service Technician Offshore for global assignments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing work at the highest standard in line with MENCK\'s and clients\' QHSE requirements. You will travel worldwide to handle service calls for equipment support, maintenance, and installations across industries such as Oil & Gas, Renewables, Deep Water, and Near Shore Construction.Duties/Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repair, overhaul and retrofit work on all types of company or client\'s hydraulic systems, components and equipment
• Ability to resolve motor, pump and hydraulic problems
• Use hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment daily
• Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, gantry and overhead cranes
• Ensure high level technical support to lower level technicians and show expertise in working with team and independently
• To communicate regularly to your Manager and Supervisor of work progress updates, including feedback on possible delays or conflict of priorities
• Work all times within the requirements of workplace health and safety legislation
• Carry out any other reasonable duties consistent with the above as directed from time to time by the Workshop Manager or Head of Operations

• Completion of an apprenticeship as a Technician, an Electrician, a Mechanic or similar
• Practical experience working in Hydraulics, Mechanics and Electrical Engineering
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, R&I flowcharts, circuit diagrams, hydraulic diagrams and flow charts
• Ability to manage multiple and fast-track priorities with a proactive and positive attitude with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation as well as working collaboratively within a team
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills supported by good attention to detail
• Proven track record of upholding the highest QHSE standards
• Ability to travel internationally and offshore as/when required
