Familiar with the standard products of the Company and be fully conversant with the assembly drawings and Bills of material - using only approved versions.
Ensure products are assembled in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
Complete all service-related documentations, including service reports, work orders & assembly data sheets.
Availability for field service trips & commissioning of equipment, including local, offshore, and overseas locations, when required.
Secondary Function:
Proficient in the use of all components, equipment, tools and techniques used in the workshop.
Reporting observation of any mistakes, omissions or alterations necessary to drawings or bills of materials.
Observe good house- keeping habits at the service area's clean and tidy.
Maintain and upkeep of Company's equipment, reporting any losses or breakages to person-incharge/senior/manager.
Requirements
Preferably with minimum of 2 years work experience in a workshop environment or with servicing of oilfield equipment.
Ability to read complex engineering drawing
Proficient in the use of small tools.
Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Office applications
A good mechanical experience with some electrical knowledge would be a big advantage. Competent in the use of power tools and basic mechanical hand tools.
Ability to read detailed engineering drawings/schematics and have at least basic computer skills. The job entails mostly working in the workshop, but field work abroad can be an option once fully trained.
