RHVAC Service Technician

Salary:

S$1,500-2,500/month (basic) + performance bonus

Work Hours:

Mon-Fri, 8:15am-6:00pm (occasional OT)

Leave & Perks:

About the Role

Join our RHVAC team handling installation, servicing, troubleshooting, compressor overhauls and project reporting for marine and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

Install, test, service and troubleshoot air-conditioning & refrigeration units; perform compressor overhauls Work independently or within a team at local/overseas sites Coordinate team activities to meet timelines; communicate proactively with clients/crews Prepare daily progress/closure reports; survey/inspection reports Perform material take-offs and labour estimates for RHVAC jobs Coach junior technicians; ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental standards Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Certification in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning

or

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering ?2 years' hands-on experience in

marine RHVAC

systems (preferred) Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycle, line components, circuit flushing, refrigerant recovery, pressure testing and vacuuming Able to read electrical circuit diagrams; knowledge of HVAC controls (including PLC) Proficient written and spoken English for technical documentation and client communication Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills; able to work independently and as a team player Comfortable working long hours in hot/humid shipyard or onboard environments when required Compressor overhauling experience is an advantage
