Job Description

Report to Workshop Supervisor and Assistant Service Manager, responsible for performance of all automotive related repairs in achieving the Departmental sales turnover objectives with fast turnaround of customer vehicles and meet quality standard.

Job Scope

Perform automotive service, repairs and OEM installation as per repair order instructions according to manufacturer's required procedures and quality standard

Diagnose and trouble shoot fault on system components of the vehicle

Record all jobs done to the vehicle on repair order

Notify any addition fault or defect found in the repair process to Workshop Supervisor and obtain appropriate approval before proceeding with the repair

Ensure and conduct self-quality assurance check

Ensure customer vehicles are clean after repair

Perform daily shop floor housekeeping

Qualification Requirements

Minimum qualification: N-Level/ NITEC in Motor Vehicle mechanics

Minimum 1-year experience in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair for Diesel Engines

Identity to work without a sponsor (if no, we need to apply pass) (preferred)

Skill Requirements

Basic Communication skills in English verbally and in writing; other languages will be an added advantage

Candidate with valid Class 3 License will be an added advantage

Willing to work in Tuas area
