• Check and compile documents for Accounts Settlement and issue payment requests.

• Issue accounting notes and prepare Statement of Accounts.

• Check sales and purchase contracts.

• Ensure completeness of deal entry and match against signed contracts for physical trade.

• Perform validation of the trades done against trade incoterms.

• Acknowledge incoming payments from clients swiftly.

• Handle office enquiries on all incoming money matters.

• Liaise with counterparties

• Liaise with overseas companies to reconcile the accounts.

• Maintain proper filing and accurate documents/records.

• Any other tasks, duties or projects as assigned by the direct manager

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting/ Finance, Logistics, Shipping, International Business or equivalent

• Min 1 year experience in finance and accounting space of a commodity trading house.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterpart.

• Detailed, meticulous and able to work well in a fastpace environment.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tasks under tight schedule.

• Strong sense of responsibility with strong analytical and organizational skills.
