The Role:
CQC is hiring a settlements office analyst for its Singapore office. This new role reports to the Settlements Manager. The Analyst will be responsible to provide end-to-end support for carbon credit trading, either bilateral (OTC) or on exchange, and ensuring the successful execution of Middle to Back Office daily workflows such as internal record keeping, trade support and daily / ad hoc reporting of trading activity.

Key responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate trade capture and booking.
  • Resolve trade discrepancies with counterparties by liaising with registry, commercial and relevant teams.
  • Monitoring and processing of trade lifecycle events.
  • Control, reconcile, and resolve trade processing exceptions.
  • Performing and enhancing daily control and reporting internally.

Relevant Skills and experience The successful candidate is likely to have the following prior experiences and training/qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in general financial services.
  • Bachelor\'s degree or diploma.
  • Strong track record of excellence in data analysis, reporting and records keeping.
  • Fluent in English
