We are looking for a Manager to lead our global Lists Assurance team. The team\'s primary role is to ensure and promote the quality of output of the research team responsible for the Dow Jones Risk & Compliance Sanctions and Other Official Lists content.
As Manager of the team you will inspire innovation, introduce quality best practices, manage workload distribution and develop relationships across all leadership levels.
You will report to the Director, Quality, Risk & Compliance. You will be based in Singapore or Barcelona.
You Will
Lead a global team of Quality Analysts in consistently ensuring and promoting the quality of output by the Sanctions and Other Official Lists research team
Inspire and develop your team to maximize their potential
Ensure your team understands customer needs and requirements to maintain effective quality processes
Provide clear, constructive and timely feedback to team members on their performance
Maintain the big picture perspective as you deal with daily work priorities to help reinforce the tasks that are important and subsequently refocus attention on the broader team/organization goals
Develop and maintain comprehensive quality metrics and reporting functions
Effectively communicate with the research team and other internal stakeholders to provide actionable feedback on quality metrics
Constantly review workflows to implement automation and generate efficiencies
Coordinate project assignments, provide visibility into project status and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery
Drive the development and refinement of research methodologies, quality-assurance, and all other processes
Work with the Director, Quality, Risk & Compliance on identifying and effectively addressing data quality issues
You Have
Project management experience and a problem-solving mindset
Innovative and strategic way of thinking to address complex quality issues
The ability to handle large and complex data sets in various formats
Advanced Excel skills including Macros, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Formulas (arrays, lookups, logical, reference, and text functions)
Fluency in written and spoken English
Strong research, editorial and analytical skills
Strong presentation and communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team and to work to tight deadlines
The ability to adapt readily to changing customer expectations (external/internal)
Preferred
Knowledge of sanctions, counter-terrorism or other regulations
Experience processing/automating data
Experience in managing a global team
Working knowledge of Python / SQL / Google Apps Script to analyze data
Education to degree level
Experience of ISAE 3000 assurance processes
