Development of miniaturized assays for techno-functional properties assessment of food proteins Proactively collaborate with scientists within SIFBI, A.STAR research institutions and other relevant national and international collaborators to develop interdisciplinary research on alternative proteins Participant in industry projects and train junior Research Officers when required Education and experience Candidates must possess a PhD in Food Science or related field, with a focus on protein techno-functional properties characterisation Strong knowledge and proficiency in techno-functional characterization of proteins Experience in initiating studies to identify new sources of alternative proteins Experience in leading independent research studies 2-3 years' experience in conducting research on alternative proteins Track record of peer reviewed publications and presentations of scientific findings at scientific meetings Key Skills: Knowledge in protein techno-functionality assessment and characterisation Excellent project management skills Excellent written and oral presentation skills in English. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team Ability to mentor junior research staff
