The National Quantum Fabless Foundry (NQFF) is a national program funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF) and operated from the Institute of Material Research and Engineering (IMRE/A.STAR). T The National Quantum Fabless Foundry (NQFF) is a national program funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF) and operated from the Institute of Material Research and Engineering (IMRE/A.STAR). The NQFF as a research foundry develops quantum devices for various quantum system development namely, computing, sensing and communication. In particular, it is developing superconducting qubits, ion traps, cryogenic electronics, photonic interfaces etc. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic technician who is eager to contribute and learn towards the development of facility for characterization of quantum device. The facility development involves hands on work with Vacuum, Electronics and Optics. The national effort provides good career progression appotunity. The minimum qualification and experience for this position are as follows: 1. A Diploma / Degree in Physics or Engineering 2. A minimum of 3 year hands on experience in either mechanical or electrical or optical projects In addition, preference will be given to those having experience in any of the following areas: Vacuum component cleaning and assembly Optics breadboard setup and alignment Electronics component assembly
