Projects The Institute of High Performance Computing, part of A.STAR in Singapore, is seeking talented, motivated researchers to hire with experience in computational design and optimization methods. Projects aim to design smart products and systems and include significant design for manufacturing and design for additive manufacturing aspects. Work may extend to human-cyber-physical-systems design and engineering. Experience with computational mechanics, multidisciplinary design optimization, shape memory materials, machine learning methods, user centred design, and/or decision theory is beneficial. Job Requirements PhD in mechanical engineering or related field Strong background in computational design and optimization, including (but not limited to) topology optimization, shape optimization, and generative design Knowledge of user centred design, human-cyber-physical-systems, and human decision-making is a plus Good coding skills for scientific computing Possess good publication track record
