Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Engineer with deep expertise in SharePoint technologies to lead and execute the migration of site collections from SharePoint On-Premises (2016/2019) to SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate will also design and develop custom applications using SPFx and Power Platform, administer SharePoint Online environments, and produce comprehensive reports for content discovery, inventory, and permissions auditing. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on technical proficiency and a passion for scalable, secure, and cost-effective enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

Build responsive, scalable SPFx web parts and extensions using TypeScript etc. Integrate third-party APIs and Microsoft Graph for enhanced functionality. Develop Power Apps for business process automation and user-friendly interfaces. Design Power Automate flows for document management, approvals, and notifications. Configure and manage SharePoint Online OOTB features including site templates, content types, metadata, and retention policies. Ability to administer SharePoint Online, monitor usage analytics, storage quotas, performance metric and generate reports. Ability to generate report using PowerShell, PnP, and Power BI. Conduct code review and testing. Maintain, support and enhancement to existing applications. Prepare documentation e.g. Design specifications, User Acceptance Test document and participate in reviews. Development of custom software or scripts to meet the new functionalities required by the business. Plan and execute migrations from SharePoint 2016/2019 to SharePoint Online using tools like Sharegate, Metalogix, or other best-in-class solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Must have minimum of 3 years' experience in development using SharePoint on prem / SharePoint Online / Power Platforms More experienced candidates will be considered for senior positions Good programming and analytical skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Experience in scripting languages such as SPFx, React, TypeScript, PnP JS, Microsoft Graph and C# Tools and Technologies to be familiar with Sharegate, Metalogix, PowerShell, CSOM Good Understanding of Web Services API, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and security best practices. Skilled in Technical/Application Design Documentation Hands-on working experience with HTML, XML and Object-Oriented methodologies. * Microsoft certifications (e.g. PL-400) are a plus.
