Job Description
My client, a US pharma MNC, is currently hiring a Shift Ops Engineer to enhance their growing team. You will be responsible for operating the plant equipment to manufacture API based on GMP and SOP, assisting the whole team to ensure the completion and implementation.
Position Summary
- Oversee plant operations, ensuring adherence to safety, cGMP, GDP, and SOP compliance.
- Oversee shift operations, ensuring full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Support and enforce safety procedures, including but not limited to Lock out/Tag out, work permits, and energy control.
- Prioritize tasks and allocate resources in alignment with Manufacturing and Operation Standard Work.
- Engage in troubleshooting, addressing EHS and quality discrepancies during manufacturing or batch record reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using the Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA) cycle.
- Conduct risk assessments, job safety evaluations, and participate in HAZOP sessions.
- Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures periodically.
- Support commissioning, qualification, and validation processes.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or any other Engineering discipline
- 2-3 years\' experience in API traditional pharmaceutical manufacturing/production environment is a must.
- Previously worked in operation floor, able to generate SOP.
