Shipbrokers act as intermediaries between two parties in the shipping industry.


We are now looking for a Broker to join our Tankers Desk in our Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Dirty Tankers in Singapore, you will work alongside colleagues in our Singapore and Atlantic/Pacific region to support the Tankers business from Asia.

Job Responsibilities:

You will develop, maintain and enhance relationships with Tankers counter parties.


You will be required to closely monitor and gather market data to forecast the direction of the markets and advise clients accordingly. You will expand and develop contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers. You will work as part of a close knit team to develop Tankers business opportunities across the value chain.

You will have:


Proven work experience as a Ship Broker or in a similar role within the maritime industry Strong understanding of the shipping market and industry regulations Excellent negotiation and sales skills Strong networking abilities and client management skills * Ability to analyse market trends and make strategic decisions
