Regularly maintain and inspect the electrical systems and components of vessels.
Travel to vessels to perform on-site repairs and maintenance as necessary
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on vessels
Install new electrical systems and components on vessels
Update and retrofit existing electrical systems as required
Work with other departments to ensure installations are completed on time and within budget
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical problems
Utilize various testing equipment and tools to ensure accurate assessments
Provide technical support and advice to vessel crew and other departments as needed
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing electrical work
Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and standards
Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and installations
Perform routine housekeeping of worksite to ensure the workshop is kept safe, neat and clean for work
Job Requirement
At least 3-5 years of experience as Electrical Engineering for oil tankers.
Strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
Excellent leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills.
The salary will commensurate with relevant experience.
