Operate ship loader equipment and related systems for the transfer of molten sulfur to vessels. Monitor loading operations to ensure correct quantities, safe handling, and compliance with shipping specifications. Conduct pre-loading and post-loading inspections of equipment and pipelines to verify integrity and readiness. Coordinate with the plant control room, marine crew, and logistics team during loading activities. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including the handling of hazardous materials (molten sulfur). Respond promptly to alarms, equipment malfunctions, or emergency situations during loading. Perform routine checks, minor maintenance, and cleaning of loading equipment and surrounding areas. Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and loading documentation. Report abnormalities, safety hazards, or potential environmental risks to the Supervisor. Support continuous improvement and safe operating practices within the plant.
Requirements:


Minimum secondary school qualification; technical or vocational training in plant/industrial operations preferred. At least 2-3 years' experience in plant operations, ship loading, or bulk liquid transfer (experience in sulfur/chemical industry is an advantage). Knowledge of ship loading systems, pumps, pipelines, and related equipment. Strong awareness of safety standards, hazardous material handling, and environmental regulations. Physically fit, able to work in shifts and outdoor/port environments. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferably Billingual (English / Mandarin) Work at height required (WAH); physically fit to use PPE, climb ladders/access ways, and work outdoors. * Required to work in Jurong Island.
