Job Title: Ship Operation Assistant Manager

Ref: 33890

Our client, a Japanese marine company in Singapore is currently seeking a Ship Operation Assistant Manager. The firm owns multiple vessels and leases to their corporate clients and manages, maintains and operates the vessels on the client\'s behalf. This role requires close communication with ship managers, charterers and also your team members in order to optimize the vessel operation and budget management.

\xe3\x80\x90What you will be working on\xe3\x80\x91

- Control and manage AP/AR with regard to the hire/expenses under the Time Charter party.

- Consult with professionals outside the company such as Hull insurers, P&I insurers, law firms and other maritime vendors.

- Learn how to identify business prospects for the Shipowners (new construction and used projects), including meeting new customers and suppliers.

- Prepare the projections for long-term projects.

- Any other assignments as and when required.

- Minimum 8 years of in-vessel post-fixture operations as shipowners (Drybulk, Tanker, Chemical, Container, Car Carrier and Gas Carrier)

- Basic knowledge of the Time Charter Parties for those vessel types listed above and other related maritime contracts.

- Excellent working attitude (sense of responsibility, punctuality, team worker)

- Has an appetite for learning and self-development.

- Strong negotiation skills & is a problem solver.

- Willing to travel to other countries if required.
