Our client is a Transportation / Logistics industry. They are looking for a Shipping Assistant to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in South. Responsibilities: Our client is a Transportation / Logistics industry. They are looking for a Shipping Assistant to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in South. Responsibilities: Responsible in receiving and processing shipment orders triggered by Customers Responsible in booking freight with nominated carriers based on customer's carrier routine guide. Responsible in providing quotation on other services such as warehousing and transportation and documentation services Responsible in liaising with the truckers to collect and truck empty containers from depot to customer premise for stuffing, and to launch the laden container to port thereafter. Responsible in preparing Permits and other relevant Applications/Declaration and Letter of Credit & final shipping documents Responsible in monitoring shipping documents for shipment clearance, and other regulatory compliance. Requirements: Min in Diploma / Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any relevant field Min 1 - 3 years working experience in Air and Sea operations Prior experience in MS Office, especially Excel is a bonus Prior experience in IT System, such as SAP is a bonus Interested candidates who wish to apply for the advertised position, please click APPLY NOW or email an updated copy of your resume/cv.
