Job Description
Your Role
We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to assist in various warehouse operational tasks and handle official documents.
What Will You Do
- To prepare Daily Shipping checklist.
- To pick shipping cartons.
- To operate PC-based Shipping & dispatching systems when applicable.
- To arrange booking for the forwarder, and prepare documents and cartons for collection.
- To create shipping group and physical scan shipping carton.
- To ensure right cargo and correct number of cartons are released to the correct forwarder.
- To update AWB and post Good Issued (PGI) shipping group.
- Effective communication by sending and responding to email.
- Proper handling of official documents.
- Adhere to all safety policy and works procedures.
- To assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, 5s-including sweeping floor and-general housekeeping duties.
- To assist in various warehouse operational task (such as Pick & Pack), and stock count.
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and section leader.
- Must have at least a N level or related course.
- Have basic knowledge of Computer skills.
- Have basic Math skills.
- Have warehouse experience will be an added advantage.
- Understand the warehouse safety regulations.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
