  • Handle daily shipping operations, including inbound/outbound/offshore shipments and local deliveries.
  • Set up project shipping and delivery plans by liaising with project managers, purchasing team with understanding of project schedules.
  • Arrange shipping/deliveries to meet project schedules.
  • Arrange freight bidding to ensure competitiveness by working with purchasing team.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure goods are ready for pick-up as scheduled and getting the necessary information for bookings with forwarders.
  • Track all the shipments, deliveries, and updating shipping schedules in system. Prepare the necessary shipping documents to ensure timely customs clearance.
  • Work with 3rd party warehouse to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, project sites.
  • Ensure correct quotes and billings from forwarders/couriers by cross-checking invoices.
  • Evaluate forwarders regularly by monitoring their performance and reviewing their quotations.
  • Work closely with Site Managers to ensure cargos are delivered to site as scheduled.
  • Work with Finance to assist with Goods Receiving in system.
  • Ensure filing system is updated with all the shipping documents and quotations from forwarders.
  • Prepare shipments tracking report if required by customers or Project Managers. Reply to email correspondence from Project Managers, Site Managers, customers, suppliers and forwarders promptly.
What We Are Looking For:
  • At least 3 years of experience in project logistics or shipping & tracking
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail.
  • Good knowledge of incoterms, import/Export clearance
  • Ability to work independently to resolve issues arising from late deliveries or customer complaints.
  • Good time management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Team Player (at all levels).
  • Strong planning and organising skills whilst being "hands on".
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in inventory management is preferred.
