Job Description

:

Co-ordination of all inbound and outbound shipments to and from GDC Singapore Preparation and provision of COO certifications from chambers Support freight invoice related matters such as creation and quotations to customers Support and coordinate service provider implementation Under the supervision of the Manager, conduct regular freight reviews through tenders to ensure competitive costs Serves as the contact and resolution figure for inaccurate and or damaged shipments Adhere to the guidelines and regulations in regard to Safety, Environment and Quality Maintain an effective working relationship with local, regional, and global resources to ensure the successful implementation of regional or global initiatives Maintain internal systems and records as required Focus on key transportation projects, outcomes, policies Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve supplier performance and add value to our customers Participate in regional Supply Chain projects and support global projects when needed Support Regional Transportation in reaching KPI's in the following areas: + Transportation cost within the region
+ Transportation service and On Time Delivery to promised lead times

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of INCOTERMS, Import / Export customs procedures for SG/ APAC region are essential Extremely competent in the Freight tender process including quotation analysis Skillful MS Office user (such as Excel, PowerPoint & Word, Power BI) Minimum 3 Years of Shipping documentation and booking experience (Air / Sea LCL/ FCL and Express Courier) Exposure and experience with 3PL environment M3 knowledge preferred but not mandatory Ability to give feedback Strong knowledge of negotiation skills Thorough understanding of supply chain processes Thorough understanding in logistic and distribution processes Strong English communication skills both verbal and written Additional Languages are preferred Forwarder background advantageous Transport Management exposure advantageous Strong analytical and communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all functions for the good of Epiroc Business oriented and able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels Dynamic and results driven, and you firmly believe that there is a better way Strong personal drive and analytical/problem solving capability Openness to change and continuous improvement Well organized Strong Supply Chain orientation and operational experience
