Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Booking of shipments with internal freight forwarding division
• Liaise closely with the customer service on the actual cargo volume requirement
• Coordinate with warehouse operations for transfer of cargo
• Confirmation of shipping documents, Bill of Lading with overseas agent.
• Pre-alert of shipment and liaising of shipment issue with overseas agent.
• Update of shipping data to the in-house system
• Performing issuing of invoices of shipments upon receiving confirmation of billing charges and costing.
• Perform issuing of other invoices, manage filing and ad hoc administrative duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma holder or its equivalent
• Knowledge and experience in shipping preferred
• Min 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Shipping or freight
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Able to start work in short notice
