Job Description

A DTP/Graphic Layout Artist is responsible for prepare shop drawing for client approval and transfer file for printing and production.

Works closely with Sales & Production Department to deliver the final product the client requires, within the client\xe2\x80\x99s schedule.



Responsibilities:

• Coordinate & with Client & Vendor on artwork requirements & deadlines
  

• Typesetting, Layout Artwork for Client\xe2\x80\x99s requirement
  

• Manage the colours required for print, & check colours of actual prints
  

• To perform the required duties, knowledgeable in using a variety of technological hardware and software, in relation to desktop publishing software, printers, scanners and output of CTP
  

• Prepare all necessary documentation, work on the readiness for print feasibility files, casting of plates and ensuring images are correct before going to press
  

• Be organised and responsible in safe keeping of all files in both physical & digital form in relation to artwork and other materials provided for each job
  

• Proactive in discussions & meetings
  

• Able to work on all Ad-hoc jobs assigned in relations to Visual Graphics
  

• Secondary Education or Higher
  

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign)
  

• Some Experience in Microsoft Office Software
  

• Excellent eye for aesthetic visuals
  

• Passion for print media
  

• Organised & meticulous in labelling & archiving of artwork & files
  

• Able to multitask & meet deadlines under pressure
  

• Good command of written and spoken English
  

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  

• Able to excel in a fast-paced environment
