Simulator Instructor Manager - Flight Training StandardizationCompany: Boeing Singapore T&FS BTE LTDJob ID: 00000432125Date Posted: 2024-07-10Location: SGP - Singapore, Singapore Qualifications:Boeing Training and Flight Services is looking for a Simulator Instructor Manager - Flight Training Standardization to join our team in Singapore.This position is in support of the Global Flight Training Standardization Team. The GFTS team supports internal global instructor standardization, AOSS Deployment, CBTA Deployment Team, customer training, and the global examiner program.Position Responsibilities:Manages a team of standardization simulator-flight instructors to deliver training design and simulator operation/training compliant with company standards and civil or military in-country/international aviation regulatory requirementsConducts evaluations and assessments of pilots and instructors undergoing training in accordance with regulatory requirements and standardsEnsures simulator flight instructors meet relevant regulatory, company and customer requirements and standardsManages the delivery of simulator flight instruction strategies and programs across all locations within assigned responsibilityDevelops operational plans aligned to the training business objectivesAssists in the development of the operational budgetManages the deployment of operational resources to meet training delivery planProvides advice, guidance and oversight to senior business leaders, managers, and customers on achievement of operational delivery objectives and evaluation and accreditation of the traineesEnsures that all training materials are up to date and reflect best industry practiceBriefs senior management on relevant changes to regulatory issues that impact courseware and/or training methodologiesResponsible for discussion/negotiations with customers and relevant regulatory agenciesManages, develops and motivates employeesEnsures full compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policiesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of simulator instructor experience specifically with transport category airplanes3+ years of experience leading and/or managing a teamFederal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating or equivalent. Either active or expired is acceptable.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higherRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
