Job Purpose
This is a key lead team role in supporting Compliance and GSK Singapore lead team to ensure that the right product gets to the right patient in the right way. This role will be responsible to embed ethics and compliance in Singapore including ensuring governance and risk management and partnering with GM and lead team to deliver a values based culture.
Responsibilities

• Influence and communicate with senior leaders on risk management and compliance strategies
• Partnering with Singapore GM and senior business leaders to proactively identify, evaluate and manage risks, in accordance with Policy 500 and GSK’s Internal Control Framework, in a way that enables sustainable business growth.
• Ensure effective compliance oversight of the Singapore business, focusing on the Commercial business, but also collaborating with and bridging across other support functions including Medical, Finance, Tech, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc., supporting the establishment of strong internal controls.
• Advise the business on risks associated with emerging business strategies and new business models to provide pragmatic options for risk mitigation and management. Ensure that the Singapore based businesses have an effective risk management strategy that aligns with GSK’s Risk Management methodology.
• Ensuring adequate internal controls are in place in the Singapore business by independently assessing efficiency of the internal control framework. Provide insight, best practice, guidance and assurance to build, test and validate the robustness of these business controls. Support delivery of clear and integrated compliance solutions.
• As a key member of RMCB and Country Executive Board, encourage discussion of relevant, significant risks and ensure that issues and conclusions are escalated upwards and consistently across the market.
• Use of data in risk assessments, monitoring, data analytics, and to support the business in using data for informed decision making.
• Being the local expert on a wide range of compliance topics including GSK policies and relevant local compliance standards, e.g., ABAC, and responsible for advising the Singapore based staff on compliance with these areas
• Driving accountability throughout Singapore to ensure greater business transparency, speak-up culture and reinforcing trust in GSK from customers, business partners, and patients.
• Collaborate and partner with functions as such Investigations, Monitoring, HR, and Internal Audit. Be the key point of contact for Singapore investigations, monitoring and audit.
• Maintain an active presence with external Pharma associations and Compliance Officers.
• Support regional Compliance lead on RMCBs, strategic projects and initiatives.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Ability to communicate and influence all levels of stakeholders effectively
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 10 years relevant experience in Compliance, Audit, Finance, Legal, Internal Controls or governance role preferred
• Experience in Pharma industry preferred
