Our client is an international commercial law firm that is highly regarded for its expertise in insurance, dispute resolution and advisory services. The firm operates across more than 45 offices across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and America.The Role:As part of wider growth plans, the firm's Singapore office is looking to recruit a highly motivated Associate or Senior Associate with 4+ years' PQE in insurance dispute resolution (including coverage experience). This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the region's leading insurance and reinsurance partners, gaining hands-on exposure of advising insurer/reinsurer clients on large and complex speciality claims across property, construction, engineering, energy, and terrorism product lines.Recent examples of work include coverage disputes and /or recoveries arising out of losses in the Maldives, Vietnam, Laos, Morocco, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, Korea, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Hong Kong SAR, Thailand, Macau SAR, New Caledonia, Nepal, Pakistan, Australia, the United States, France, Germany and the Netherlands.The successful applicant will be exposed to a wide range of international work across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.Key requirements:

• Strong disputes lawyer ideally between 4PQE and 6PQE (the team is willing to consider applicants with more of less experience)
• Exposure to insurance coverage, ideally within the property, energy and construction space
• Strong international arbitration experience preferred but not essential
• Excellent academics
• You will possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Demonstrate the proven ability to manage your own time with excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail
• High level of professionalism and integrity; displaying the highest standard of professional ethics
• Flexible attitude towards working practices and ability to adapt style as required
• A natural team player ready to assist and support colleagues where necessary

Adam founded Auston Legal in January 2013 after building and managing dedicated legal teams in the City. Before forming the company he spent several years at an award-winning Search Consultancy where he led key accounts for annually retained clients focusing on partner level and team search assignments.
Adam has a thorough knowledge of all types of recruitment, he works at all levels of experience with a focus on senior level appointments with the majority at partner level.

Laila has almost 20 years' experience in the legal recruitment sector, working across different areas of legal practice. She began her career with an award-winning City boutique legal search firm, working with Adam on partner level searches for individual and annually retained clients.
Laila has focused on litigation recruitment since 2017, she joined Auston Legal in March 2020 to focus solely on the insurance sector.
Laila read Law and History at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and completed her LLM with SOAS and King's College London in 2004.George Molyneux Buckley
After graduating with a 1st Class Law degree, qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive and spending almost 10 years as an insurance lawyer, George moved into legal recruitment. He has since established himself as the only specialist recruiter of commercial insurance lawyers across the North and the Midlands.
In line with his growing reputation, George was shortlisted for Recruitment/Talent Professional of the Year at the 2022 'Made in Manchester' Awards.
George has assisted in moves at all levels of seniority, at both Solicitor and Partner level. Whilst he is known for his work in professional indemnity and property damage, he is experienced in all areas of non-injury insurance recruitment.
