Site Coordinator
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Site coordination and monitoring civil work progress
Monitor the site progress against the approved construction program and highlight to project manager if progress is behind schedule
Study drawings and specifications, highlighting discrepancies for decision making
Perform site supervision, including planning and coordinating technical and site issues
Participate in meetings with clients/contractors
Control and maintain the safe and smooth progress of work activities at site
Carry out works scheduling, material requisition, project supervision and documentation
Familiar with basic levelling instrument
Knowledge of basic computer literate especially in Microsoft excel, words, project management, etc
Open ground & be prepared to the exposure to sun light & some dusty working environment
Willing to work beyond normal working hours
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a professional certificate/diploma related in construction
Basic Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS) Certificate is preferred
At least 2 years' experience in large-scale general building/civil engineering projects with a high level of complexity
Strong organizational, communication and people management skills
