Vita Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Site Engineer - HVAC to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.Vita Partners is the Asia-Pacifics largest pan-regional pure-play life science, innovation and R&D real estate platform. The platform focuses on investing, acquiring, developing, constructing, managing, and operating real estate projects in fast-growing life sciences, innovation and R&D real estate markets in Asia-Pacific. The company operates within two main segments a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;Responsibilities:Prepare drawings detailing the system designedSupport senior engineer and/or senior designer in the on-going plans of project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements and project budgetsPerform construction administration and field investigation tasks for pharmaceutical project(s) including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reportsProcessing RFI's and change ordersPrepare and document Energy compliance calculations and formsSelect equipment and fixtures for use in the buildingCoordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architectsEnsure that all construction contractors supervision and manpower are instructed and comply with all aspects of MOM Workplace Safety policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and Client requirementsEnsure that construction contractors work within the discipline adhere strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, Specifications, ITPs, Procedures and Site InstructionsResponsible for the HSES, quality aspects of work within assigned areas and ensure construction contractors complete their work in accordance with project scheduleRequirements:Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineAt least 7-10 years of related experienceExperience in a similar role in building/ refinery/ petrochemical/ process / pharmaceutical plant construction would be a distinct advantagePrevious experience in a similar role within Petrochem/O&G/ Process/ Pharmaceutical industryPossess extensive pipefitting and HVAC experienceProficiency with HVAC load and energy calculationsDemonstrate an ability to supervise a teamProficiency in Microsoft OfficeVita is committed to being a diverse and inclusive employer of choice by engaging, enabling and empowering our people.
