Job Description

• Working days: 5.5 days, alternate Saturday
• Working hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 6pm ; Sat 8am to 12pm
• Salary: $4200-$5000
• Location: Jurong (Office) // Pasir Ris (Workplace )

This position reports to the Construction Manager / Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Plan daily and weekly work for each section and liaise with site foremen, supervisors and workers on the work tasks and construction methods to be used
• Monitor progress of work, quality of workmanship in compliance with site and project requirements and quality records
• Check drawings against transmittal for discrepancies, built-ability information, revisions and coordination issues
• Maintain structural drawings, part prints and shop drawings to ensure they are in order with the register
• Implement project method statements and inspection and test plans
• Monitor site progress, piling progress and initiate setting out verification and update CM and PM on all issues.
• Inspect site progress works to ensure the quality and accuracy of the site works
• Maintain piling records as per inspection and test plan and contract documents
• Check quality and quantity of subcontract works done

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years\' of civil engineering experience in the local construction industry
• Familiar with design & visualizations software such as AutoCAD / Civil 3D or similar
• Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, contract administration, scheduling, safety regulations would be an added advantage
• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute approved by BCA or PEB
