Overview of the job

How would you like to improve machinery and process systems? We want entry level engineers who can handle dynamic work environments and who know how to think outside of the box. We rely on our engineers in engineering and manufacturing to make our products to the highest of standards and with state of the art equipment and technology. Responsibilities of the role

• To identify, prioritize and eliminate quality related losses and to eliminate or reduce (prioritized) losses through work process/system changes Eg. Internal and external (with supplier/vendors)
• To build the QA capability (I-Quality, QPHA), Control release state & CSV (Computer System Validation) capability
• To provide feedback to design and quality standardization deployment
• Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities
• Provide technical mastery by coaching on change/validation to the floor.
• Surface information (urgency), highlight issue to line manager
• To fix fundamentals, think \xe2\x80\x9clong term\xe2\x80\x9d to develop breakthrough solutions and results
• Participate in the daily direction-setting process \xe2\x80\x93 report results, flag issues and request resources.
• Share and reapply learning across processes, modules and plants.
• Responsible for process or standard work process improvement validation
• Develop standards like SOPs, CBAs, Job Aids after improvement
• Ensuring operations are in compliance with QA policy/SOP on:

• In-Process Quality Control Testing (Non-release)
• Execution of validations and generation of documentation
• Material Pre-Weigh (where required)
• Calibration Programs

Job Qualifications

• Minimum Degree or Diploma with background/ skills in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 0-4 years of relevant supply chain operation or project experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong leadership/ ownership and high responsibility
• Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills where you can work effectively with third party/ suppliers, and cross functional stakeholders
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
• Willing to work in Tuas
