Assist the Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with timeline, quality, and technical specifications.
Monitor site progress, performance of subcontractors, and report updates to the Project Manager.
Conduct site meetings with workers and subcontractors to communicate project requirements and progress.
Maintain accurate records of material usage, labor costs, and other project-related expenses.
Assist with procurement of materials and hiring/assignment of laborers.
Support contractors and engineers in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of site activities.
Motivate and manage workers to maintain high productivity and morale.
Foster positive working relationships with site workers, contractors, and suppliers.
Ensure all changes in project plans are communicated and executed effectively.
Safety & Compliance
Educate workers on safety procedures and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Report and document any accidents or incidents on site; ensure immediate first aid is administered.
Ensure compliance with local/state construction regulations and industry standards.
Proactively identify potential site problems and implement preventive measures.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant site supervision or project coordination experience
Strong knowledge of construction processes, technical drawings, and industry standards.
Familiar with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with workers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
