Join our well-established team of specialists across reclamation, coastal adaptation, restoration, coastal protection & resilience, and marine structures and further develop your career with an international consultancy.We are seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to undertake the following tasks;
Oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.
Formulation of procurement strategy, preparation of tender documents, preparation of cost reports and cost plans, administration of tender process, evaluation of tenders and submission of tender recommendation reports.
Review variation request order, assess the associated variation costs, monthly financial report, processing of progress payment and final account.
To work closely with the Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction and post construction stage.
You will have/be:
\xe2\x80\x8bRecognized Degree in Quantity Surveying with an excellent understanding of the Construction process.
Ideally possess at least 5-years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a QS consulting environment, preferably with experience in infrastructure, container port, marine terminals or coastal development projects.
Must be well versed with the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract and various types of Contract Conditions.
Well-developed writing and communication skills and excellent negotiation and mediation skills.
Excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
Possesses superior attention to detail to identify inconsistencies in contracts.
Resourceful with the ability to work independently but also a good team player.
Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team.
Willing to travel overseas as and when required for handling of overseas projects.
