The role
We are looking for an experienced Slinger for our Marine function based in Singapore. As the Slinger, you will:

  • Basic knowledge of lifting operations to ensure safe operation. Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved.
  • Setting, aligning, and levelling heavy equipment machinery. Selecting the appropriate rigging gear.
  • Preparing rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, and bolts. Inspecting rigging before final use. Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures. Communicating with the rigging and construction team.. Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post-rigging inspections.
  • To assist with any ad-hoc task instructed by Supervisor / Management. To retrieve work order from Operations Supervisor before deployment and to get client’s endorsement upon completion of work
  • To report any unsafe act / condition to supervisor or management. To adhere with MOM working hours and days requirement. To strictly comply with all relevant company and WSH policies /regulations. To assist with mooring / unmooring activities


Qualifications
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • At least Secondary school education level or equivalent.
  • Be Physically fit to handle hard labour
  • Able to work at outdoor
  • Able to commit OT after office hours, weekend & Public Holiday is an advantage
  • Prior experience being Rigger Signaler is an advantage
