SPD Scientific Pte Ltd is rapidly expanding. As part of our expansion program, we are seeking experienced and high-caliber individual in this newly created role to join us.

Reporting to the Business Manager of SPD Scientific Pte Ltd, the position will develop business opportunities across the clinical range of products with the objective of achieving/exceeding the sales and profit targets for businesses set.

Responsibilities:

Sales Development

  • Establish sound understanding of market (customers, competition, new technology, etc.) and key trends.
  • Analyze, set clear objectives, and develop strategies to drive healthcare, Industry or Institution market penetration and growth.
  • Actively identify market opportunities, potential customers and establish new accounts to expand business for rapid testing, laboratory consumables and equipment.
  • Ability to take on and assist in launching new product lines.
Sales Maintenance
  • Monitor sales performance (target, competition, accounts, etc.)
  • Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing clients and achieving excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Regular meetings with client within healthcare, Industry or Institution setting across Singapore to understand it needs and drives the solutions.
  • Participate in sales forecasting, budgeting, and marketing activities.
Product Support
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and manage product evaluations.
  • Manage and support exhibitions, trade shows and promotion program.
  • Learn and acquire strong knowledge of product features and benefits against competitors\' products.
  • Ability to take on and promote a wide range of products to support training and education across the medical division portfolio.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Medical Science or related studies
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales account management experience in the similar industry
  • Experience in either Clinical Diagnostics segments or Animal Cell Culture Research, Pre-Analytical Chemistry and Infectious Diseases Diagnostics, Histopathology. Biochemistry, Microbiology or Hematology and molecular laboratories would be preferred
  • Strong analytical and management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence customers at all levels
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Professional, self-motivated, focused and creative thinking
