Maintain positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners (including, and not limited to, academic partners, visiting consultants, community care organizations, MOH, and Synapxe) to understand big picture directions and to influence partners in the areas of business analytics and data management.
Inform planning and operational decision making in the following ways:
Engage internal stakeholders from divisions across AIC to understand operational intents and business needs.
Guide and facilitate the development of clear specifications for each data product cycle.
Develop and supervise the development of regular and ad-hoc data products, including, but not limited to, dataset extraction, dashboard creation, interactive map creation, infographics based on descriptive statistics and simple correlations, analyses based on machine learning methods.
Manage workload and turnaround time demands in a way that remains fair to members of the Business Intelligence Team while meeting operational requirements.
Support AIC\xe2\x80\x99s central data management function in the following ways:
Co-create, and keep current, AIC\xe2\x80\x99s data strategy for the optimal exploitation of operational datasets.
Co-create, and keep current, policies for the centralization of datasets from source systems across AIC for the purposes of
Reconciliation and SRDD ownership of centralized data
Keeping all source systems up-to-date with the best verified information of AIC\xe2\x80\x99s clients
External sharing of reconciled datasets
Co-create, and keep current, standard operating procedures for:
Manual reconciliation of merged data from different source systems across AIC.
Regular data refresh of applicable IT systems to optimize operational efficiency and client experience.
Internal data sharing across AIC divisions through the central platform
External data sharing using reconciled data stored on the central platform
Ensuring that the team is compliant with applicable regulations and guidelines when handling datasets containing restricted and sensitive information.
Keep SRDD\xe2\x80\x99s Data Inventory Map up-to-date
Establish and maintain a sustainable system of documentation for data products to optimize transparency, reproducibility, and to facilitate regular review and enhancement.
Build business analytic capabilities among team members and across AIC divisions by conducting learning workshops, and co-conducting communities of practice. The goal is to help colleagues and Community Care partners become proficient in developing their own data products and to be savvy and critical consumers of business analyses.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
A good degree in relevant fields such as Business Analytics, Business Computing, Statistics, or Economics from a reputable university.
At least 10 years of business analytic and IT-related experience, with minimally 4 years in a managerial capacity.
Recent practical experience with enterprise-level data management and data strategy would be an advantage.
Background interest and knowledge in ageing issues, and health and long-term care policies is desirable.
Experience in multi-agency work in healthcare or social care industries would be a plus.
A high level of practical proficiency with tools for data wrangling and machine learning such as Python.
A high level of practical proficiency with tools for data visualization such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI
Working knowledge about data architecture, and different types of databases
Working knowledge about descriptive statistics and simple correlations
Able to formulate effective technical approaches to solve difficult problems, and personally and substantially contribute to delivering the solution.
