The Senior Systems Engineer with Virtualisation skills is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure systems, with a focus on VMware and Nutanix technologies. The role involves analyzing and optimizing existing IT systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance, and ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure systems that incorporate VMware and Nutanix technologies
• Analyze and optimize existing IT systems to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT teams
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and procedures
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure systems, including backups and disaster recovery plans
• Monitor system performance and identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other IT teams, including network and security, to ensure seamless integration of systems
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IT infrastructure and storage solutions

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and storage systems administration
• In-depth knowledge of VMware and Nutanix technologies, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions, including NetBackup and Veeam
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
