Job Purpose

We are seeking a talented Social Media Executive excited about events to join our team. You will be responsible for managing our social media accounts and developing content to engage with our audience and has good grounding of marketing, communications and community engagement strategy on social media with customer service, copywriting, photography, and Canva skills.

You must be a team worker, able to manage internal and external stakeholders, and proficient at the digital marketing landscape to propose and execute brand stories and online marketing campaigns backed by market research. Being an out-of-box creative thinker with a goal-oriented professionalism would be key traits.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, manage and create content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
• Develop social media strategies that align with our marketing goals
• Create engaging and informative copy for social media posts and advertisements
• Work with and manage our social media, creative and PR agencies to execute strategies, track and report progress
• Take and edit high-quality photos, videos, and gifs before and during events to use in social media content
• Design graphics using Canva to enhance social media posts
• Monitor social media platforms for customer feedback and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Track and report on social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns
• Candidate should be comfortable to work shifts

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in social media management
• Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in photography and photo editing
• Experienced in using Canva or other graphic design tools
• Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passionate about social media and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Skills

• Independent, possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Result oriented and able to multi task with a high drive to deliver
• Good time management and analytical skills
