The Role

  • Responsible for the social media strategy plan; owned, paid and earned media.
  • Plan editorial calendar for hotel\'s social media accounts - Facebook and Instagram.
  • Ensure all comments and messages on social media are responded in a timely manner.
  • Source for user generated content and request for permission to use.
  • Ensure hotel website is updated with offers, user-generated content and reviews.
  • Work with corporate office to activate online campaigns such as display ads, paid search, metasearch and website optimisation so as to drive bookings and increase conversions.
  • Copywriting for website, ebanners, edm, digital screens and other collaterals.
  • Assist with photoshoot of hotel, F&B, events and other activities for marketing purposes, including social media.
  • Manage editorial, filming and photography requests.
  • Build relationship with media and influencers.
  • Organise media stays, tastings, festive deliveries and other activities.
  • Manage partnerships and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure media clippings are saved and PR value tabulated.
  • Support other marketing communications activities where required.
Talent Profile
  • Educational qualifications in media, marketing, communication studies, journalism, creative writing, or similar.
  • Experience as a social media executive/associate/coordinator for a consumer or similar company.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms.
  • In-depth understanding of the processes surrounding the creation and distribution of paid advertisements.
  • Flexible and engaging writing style.
  • Knowledge of pertinent engagement metrics.
  • Willingness to work occasional extra hours and on weekends whenever a hotel event, campaign or project requires.
