pathhog is a travel app designed for today's explorers and creators. We help travel content creators monetize their recommendations through affiliate links, while giving users powerful tools to plan their journeys--bookmarking must-visit spots and generating personalized itineraries with AI.

We're building the future of social-driven travel planning and are looking for a creative, motivated intern to join our team!

Role Overview

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in shaping pathhog's online presence. You'll create engaging content, grow our community across multiple platforms, and help showcase the power of pathhog to both travel creators and travellers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about travel, storytelling, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in creating and curating content (posts, reels, stories, short-form videos, graphics) for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

- ?Research travel trends, creators, and viral content formats to inspire social media strategy.

- ?Support community engagement by responding to comments, DMs, and interacting with creators and users.

- ?Help plan and schedule content calendars using social media management tools.

- ?Track social media performance and provide insights on engagement, reach, and growth.

- ?Collaborate with the marketing and product team to brainstorm campaign ideas.

- ?Assist with influencer outreach and partnership initiatives.

Qualifications

- Passion for travel, social media, and digital storytelling.

- ?Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms.

- ?Basic skills in Canva, CapCut, or other design/video editing tools (preferred).

- ?Excellent written and verbal communication.

- ?Organized, proactive, and eager to learn.

- ?Prior experience with social media management or content creation is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per month
