Social Media Specialist (B2B SEA & ANZ)

As the Social Media Manager, you will help to build and execute the social media strategy, initiatives and projects for the world\'s largest technology company. You will be tasked to bring the client\xe2\x80\x99s brand to life, nurture brand love and promote advocacy, whilst actively building a sense of community.

You will be in charge of driving and delivering excellence in all things social - from strategic thinking and planning to always-on content development and curation, to operational workflows and campaign support. You must have an astute understanding of what is fit for social and what makes great work social by design. An eye for creativity and a keen grasp of what resonates in-market will ensure success in the role. You will wear many hats as a social media strategist, content strategist, project manager and program delivery; thus, the ability to pivot quickly and effectively is critical.

You will also be an instrumental player in a broader regional team who would boldly venture into new waters in the bid to deliver more disruptive and impactful work. This means trialling new modes and ways to grow social engagements as the world of social media and the way in which our target audiences experience and consume content evolve. Together with the team lead, you will play a key part in driving success for innovation projects across paid, influencer, partner and employee engagement efforts. Role:

  • Plan, refine and execute the social strategy for the markets required, covering but not limited to the following: always-on content, campaigns, employee advocacy and paid social programmes
  • Work closely and offer trusted strategic counsel on social campaigns and marketing efforts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Curate social content, including planning and executing the editorial calendar
  • Pitch fresh, innovative ideas to drive engagement and business outcome
  • Liaise with local product marketing managers to create content
  • Create visuals and content assets based on existing templates
  • Exercise firm due diligence and ensure that all activities on social media are fit-for-market, meets local needs and captures local nuances
  • Preserve the sanctity of the client\xe2\x80\x99s brand for all forms of delivery through social media - be it copy, creatives and/or any other forms of engagements
  • Review and report owned content performance and learnings, along with proactive sharing of best-in-class practices on social media and competitive intelligence
  • Present performance audits and provide strategic recommendations to elevate the social media presence and engagement
You:
  • Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing preferred, or equivalent industry experience
  • 4+ years of experience in tech, marketing or related industry and a proven track record in social media strategy and management; background in B2B technology space and experience in demand generation activities is preferred
  • Have compelling examples of social media strategy and management for a global brand, ideally covering Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • A strategic and creative thinker who is able to navigate the ever-evolving social landscape, think big and macro, and can confidently lead a project from planning to delivery with minimal supervision
  • Able to positively influence diverse stakeholders and galvanise them on the social agenda and mission of the brand; able to build trust and rapport
  • Solid project management experience, with an ability to bring both order and attention to detail
  • Experience with social media publishing tools like Sprinklr
  • Basic skills for Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred
  • Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver on a common goal
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentations skills
