RESPONSIBILITIES



The Social Work Associate (SWA) in the Central Triage Unit (CTU) provides frontline support in client enquiries, intake processes, and documentation. The SWA works closely with Social Workers and Senior-On-Duty (SOD) to ensure clients are attended to efficiently, risk concerns are flagged appropriately, and operational workflows are executed smoothly.


Job Responsibilities:



Receive and document client enquiries via phone, email, or walk-in, and conduct initial information gathering to understand presenting issues, service needs, and urgency Flag risk and safety concerns (e.g., abuse, self-harm, harm to others) to SOD or other seniors immediately Provide basic service navigation information (e.g., community resources, helplines) to clients Input enquiry and intake details into SSNet and internal databases accurately and within agreed timelines Maintain confidential and accurate records of client interactions Assist in tracking turnaround times, caseload statistics, and other CTU performance metrics Support the CTU team in refining workflows, templates, and client-facing resources Participate in team discussions, case reviews, and reflective practice sessions to improve service delivery Provide feedback from frontline experience to enhance client journey and reduce duplication for downstream teams

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess Diploma in Social Work or other relevant qualifications from an accredited institution Other disciplines can be considered

OTHER INFORMATION

Relevant Experience:



1-2 years prior experience in Social Service Sector Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
