Job Description

:SOCIAL WORKERYou will be involved in casework, counselling and programmes at our family service centres and elderly centres.Responsibilities:

• Conducts casework and manages case consultations
• Networks and partners with relevant stakeholders and organizations
• Volunteer management and providing supervision for volunteers and interns
• Conduct analyses, develops and implements programmes and services to meet the needs of the community
• Plans, executes and evaluates ongoing programmes and services
• For Senior positions, provide clinical supervision to professional & support staff involved in casework, and responsible for the professional development of social workers
• Any other additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned, if need be, from time to time

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work from NUS/ Monash/UniSIM or any other recognised university
• With Psychology or Counselling preferred to handle elderly with mental or dementia issue
• Bilingual and be able to speak other dialects to communicate with the clients and stakeholders
• A good team player and with good written and interpersonal skills
• Passion to serve and to work with youths and their families
• Conduct home/ hospital visitations (elderly)
• Must be registered with SASW Accreditation Board
• Ability to drive is an advantage
