An exciting Software Developer (Calypso) job opportunity has just opened up at a global financial services company in Singapore. About the Software Developer (Calypso) Role: In this role, you will responsible for or development and maintenance of Capital Market IT applications (in-house and package) used worldwide, covering Front Office and Back Office applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and change management
• Analyse enhancement requests for the repo business and new products
• Propose solutions in collaboration with Architects
• Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation
• Coordinate user acceptance tests
• Monthly releases, following the team\'s milestones for analysis, coding and testing
• Support the release roadmap in production
• Incidents and requests management (business users and other IT teams)
• Application support, level 3 (expert)
• Troubleshoot and fix issues/bugs
• Continuous Improvement
• Improve operational processes
• Coach more junior team members as required

• Research, design, and develop software
• Analyse user needs and develop software solutions
• Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures
• Work with other engineers to integrate hardware and/or software systems
• Develop specifications and performance requirements

To succeed in this Software Developer (Calypso) role, you must have a minimum of three to four years\' experience in Calypso development and support.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of five years\' experience as a Calypso Technical analyst on Calypso back office (development)
• Experience on Calypso version v16
• In-depth knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, ScheduledTask, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages/Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framework, Reconciliation features
• Understanding of financial assets (FX, money market, cash) and trade life cycle
• Experience with regulatory reporting MMSR
• Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems
• Hands-on experience in implementation projects
• AGILE track record
• Experience in implementing NR scenarios
• Readiness to do L3 Support if required
• Readiness to do On-call rotation with team mates to cover night and week-end support
• Work in shift for ASIA or EMEA region : (9am - 6:30pm SGT) or (3pm - midnight SGT)
• On-call rotation with team mates to cover night and week-end support
